A 4 step ABCD assessment approach that includes:

A. ANTHROPOMETRY

This includes measuring your, weight, height, waist circumference, body fat, water, muscles, bone mass etc

B. BIOCHEMICAL ASSESSMENT

Taking and analyzing your blood results e.g cholesterol, blood sugar, hormones etc
Blood test may be required -can be done by Lancet laboratory.

C. CLINICAL ASSESSMENT

A head to toe evaluation of any signs of nutrient deficiencies e.g a pale looking skin could be a sign of iron deficiency.

D. DIETARY ASSESSMENT

Assessment of food and fluid intake over a period of time to determine eating patterns and if one meets their daily nutrition requirements. Physical activity level, medicine and supplement use also assessed. All this gathered information from the ABCD assessment is then used to plan, educate and advise on dietary changes that need to be made. Tailored meal plans and educational sheets also issued to reinforce the dietary changes. A dietitian will evaluate and monitor adherence and progress on a regular basis and make necessary adjustment as you go.
